Angels & classical

Angel paintings and classical statue art

Much of Kayla's work begins with stone. She paints classical statues, angels and gods in careful shades of gray, then breaks the stillness: a cascade of neon drips behind a weathered angel, gold geometry framing a pair of wings, a castle built into the crown of a cracked marble bust.

The marble stays calm. The color does not. Originals are painted in oil, acrylic and metal; prints of selected pieces are made to order.
