Wildlife & the West
Wildlife paintings of the American West
A bison breathing through a cloud of dust, a bear looking straight at you, a white horse bowing its head, a tiger stepping into a beam of light. Kayla paints animals with weight and presence, usually in black and white, so the eyes do the talking.
Now and then she lets an owl or a macaw explode into full color. Every piece is painted by hand in her Bitterroot Valley studio and signed KH.
